Rally
The rally of BCCM 2026 crosses the border into Italy twice – first through the Val Bregaglia to Gordona near Chiavenna, then via the Val Poschiavo down to Tirano. Two countries, remarkable altitude changes, and plenty of Italianità!
Join us for the BCCM 2026 rally on Saturday 11 July – a drive across some of the most impressive alpine routes linking Switzerland and Italy. From the elegant start in front of the Badrutt’s Palace Hotel in the centre of St. Moritz to the stylish finish on Mauritiusplatz in front of the Town Hall, the route leads through two countries, from high alpine passes down into Mediterranean valleys. Ranging from almost 2'400 to 300 metres above sea level, the landscape offers pure contrast: cool Engadine air, Italian sunshine, winding passes and open plains – a rally filled with Italianità and alpine character.

RALLY CLASSIFICATION
The classification is based on an age-dependent coefficient: penalty points are multiplied by the factor 1 + (year of manufacture / 100). Example: A vehicle from 1937 with 1000 penalty points results in 1000 × 1.37 = 1370 points. A vehicle from 1960 converts 1000 penalty points into 1600 points. There are two participation categories to choose from:
- Sports Classic – With full scoring and official ranking
- Mountain Classic – Participation without scoring or ranking; start and finish must be completed within the defined time window
Awards
The top three finishers in the Sports Classic category will be honoured during the gala evening at Suvretta House. The winner receives an exclusive IWC watch with special BCCM engraving.
Spectators
Spectators are welcome – both in the morning at the start in front of Badrutt's Palace Hotel in St. Moritz and in the afternoon at Mauritiusplatz in front of the town hall, where music, live commentary, and drinks (for purchase) will create a special atmosphere starting at 2:30 p.m. There are also numerous opportunities to see the vehicles up close along the route. As the route leads from St. Moritz over the Maloja Pass to Chiavenna and then back to the Engadin before continuing over the Bernina Pass to Tirano and back to St. Moritz, the vehicles will pass through the Engadin several times during the day. Spectators and photographers can therefore position themselves at selected vantage points and along the route to follow the action from different perspectives.
