| 30th British Classic Car Meeting St. Moritz – Safari-Saison lanciert! | | | | | | Dear Ladies and Gentlemen
Es geht zwar noch vier Monate bis zum 30th BCCM St. Moritz – The Safari Edition, aber schon tummeln sich die ersten Fahrzeuge im Garten des Suvretta House... Unsere Katie hat mit diesem auf 25 Stück limitierten Defender Works V8 Trophy die Safari-Saison im Engadin lanciert. Die Registrierung für das 30th BCCM St. Moritz ist bis Ende April 2024 geöffnet. Bitte beachten Sie, dass das Teilnehmerfeld auf 111 Fahrzeuge aller britischen Marken begrenzt ist und die Nachfrage nach Startplätzen hoch ist. Gerne nehmen wir deshalb Ihre Anmeldung frühzeitig entgegen.
Derweil arbeitet das Organisationskomitee am Jubiläumsprogramm, das viele Highlights und Special Guests verspricht. Einige von Ihnen haben uns gefragt, welche "Workshops" am Freitagmorgen zu erwarten sind. Als Teilnehmer/in werden Sie wählen, welchen Workshop Sie besuchen möchten und sich nach dem Prinzip "first come, first served" anmelden. Zur Auswahl stehen unter anderem folgende Themen:
- Car Detailing mit Marcello Mereu. Marcello hat sich auf die ästhetische Restaurierung von Classic Cars spezialisiert und ein Buch dazu herausgegeben. Am BCCM wird er auf ironische Art die zehn Gebote der Oldtimerpflege präsentieren.
- Clay Pigeon Shooting mit Peter Egli, Direktor Suvretta House und BCCM Chairman. Das Suvretta House veranstaltet seit Jahren den Clay Pigeon Shooting Cup. Am BCCM werden Sie am Standort des WTC St. Moritz in die Tradition des Wurftaubenschiessens eingeführt.
- Car Photography mit Davide De Martis. Der langjährige BCCM-Fotograf Davide De Martis sagt Ihnen wie Sie Ihren Oldtimer am besten fotografieren, um die überzeugendsten Resultate zu erzielen.
- Out of Africa at the Asprey of London Store in St. Moritz mit Store Manager Bella Haas. Sie werden mehr über die Asprey-Story erfahren und über Produkte mit Safari-Bezug hören – vom Seidenschal zum Pocket Emptier. Teilnehmerinnen erhalten ein Give-Away von Asprey of London.

There are still four months to go until the 30th BCCM St. Moritz - The Safari Edition, but the first vehicles are already romping around the Suvretta House garden... Our Katie has launched the safari season in the Engadin with this Defender Works V8 Trophy, limited to 25 units. Registration for the 30th BCCM St. Moritz is open until the end of April 2024. Please note that the field of participants is limited to 111 vehicles of all British brands and that the demand for starting places is high. We are delighted to accept your registration early.
Meanwhile, the organizing committee is working on the anniversary programme, which promises many highlights and special guests. Some of you have asked which "workshops" can be expected on Friday morning. As a participant, you will be able to choose from a selection of special workshops and register on a first come, first served basis. Choose from the following topics, among others:
- Car Detailing with Marcello Mereu. Marcello specializes in the aesthetic restoration of classic cars and has published a book on the subject. At the BCCM, he will present the ten commandments of classic car care in an ironic way.
- Clay pigeon shooting with Peter Egli, Director of Suvretta House and BCCM Chairman. Suvretta House has been organizing the Clay Pigeon Shooting Cup for years. At the BCCM you will be introduced to the tradition of clay pigeon shooting at the official location of the WTC St. Moritz.
- Car photography with Davide De Martis. Long-time BCCM photographer Davide De Martis tells you how best to photograph your classic car to achieve the most convincing results.
- Out of Africa at the Asprey of London store in St. Moritz with Store Manager Bella Haas. You will learn more about the Asprey story and discover safari-related products - from silk scarves to pocket emptiers. This workshop is a must for the ladies who can expect a small give-away.
